About Artisanal

Preserving the character of things made by hand.

A Nevada business connecting enduring clay traditions with thoughtful residential and commercial projects.

Our purpose

Building materials should feel alive.

Led by Ramon Rodelo, Artisanal Building Materials brings handcrafted clay products and traditional masonry character to projects that call for something more personal than a uniform factory finish.

The collection centers on Adobe Rustic and Common Brick formats, Pichuela-style masonry, square and hexagonal terracotta tile, clay roof tile, mosaics, and specialty finishing pieces. Natural differences in edge, tone, and surface are part of the material’s identity.

Whether the work is a courtyard, residence, roofscape, garden wall, or distinctive commercial interior, the goal is practical: help customers understand the material, choose a coherent blend, and plan an order with confidence.

What guides us

Craft, clarity, and respect for variation.

These principles shape how we talk about material, develop selections, and support each order.

Material honesty

We present natural variation as a strength and set clear expectations for handmade surfaces.

Human craft

We value the knowledge carried through touch, repetition, fire, and generations of making.

Practical guidance

Good design also has to build well. We help clarify quantities, samples, timelines, and use.

Enduring character

We favor materials that gain richness through light, weather, wear, and thoughtful care.

From the yard

Real materials. Real process.

Our photography shows the work as it is: pieces drying in the open air, finish samples arranged by hand, and fired color emerging with its own rhythm.
